| The Complex |
| The Dock
This seaweed-strewn dock is the first place any new arrival to ATHIE island sees. It's also the only way in and out of the island.

| The Wards (1 sub-board)
Although ominous sounding, the wards are only meant for observation and pre-experiment data. The steel-framed beds are impossible to break and surrounded by iron bars, though, and the more troublesome patients are fitted to special rigs that make movement impossible.

| The Lab
The place of nightmares. This is where Dr. Othello performs the surgical procedures that change teenagers into animal hybrids.

| The Apartments
Frequently referred to as "The Waiting Rooms", these are a series of crummy, low-quality living units where the teenagers live while they are waiting for their transformations to begin.

| The Pens
These gigantic iron pens are where the teenagers undergo the long and painful process of transformation into their hybrid forms. Nobody stays here for long.

| The Zoo
In mockery of human zoos, this place houses already-transformed teenagers in customized exhibits. This is where most of the hybrids spend their time.

| The Observatory
Area of the lab where already transformed creatures are further experimented on and forced to change even further. The Observatory and the Zoo make up the majority of places that hybrids visit.

| The Cells
A dank place where only the most dangerous hybrids are held, after they have become hazardous even while in an exhibit. This is the end of the line.

| The Wildlands |
| Beach
A sandy, beautiful beach on the other side of the island from the docks, but unfortunately most of the hybrids never get to see this.

| Forest
The massive forest that covers most of ATHIE island and surrounds the laboratory and zoo. There are some animal traps out here, but generally hybrids that make it this far are considered lost to the zoo.

| Fields
A series of meadows and fields within the Forests that are home to the larger animals of the island. Escaped hybrids sometime make dens in these fields.
